Greenville, NC & Co-X Properties Welcome New Downtown Hotel Property
A groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday to mark the start of construction on a new Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Greenville. The eight-story, 101-room hotel, developed by Co-X Properties, is expected to open in summer 2023.
This project is a significant milestone for the city, as it will be the first hotel to operate downtown in over 50 years. The hotel will feature a rooftop bar and restaurant, meeting spaces, and stunning views of East Carolina University's campus.
Co-X Properties, owned by ECU alumni Paul Adkison and Scott Diggs, is committed to making the hotel a vibrant hub for the community. They are collaborating with ECU students and faculty to incorporate unique design elements and local artwork into the building.
The hotel is expected to attract visitors, boost local businesses, and contribute to the revitalization of downtown Greenville.
