Greenville's tallest building nears completion, promises downtown boost

GREENVILLE, Pitt County — A new hotel in Downtown Greenville is nearing the end of its construction. This will be the tallest building in Greenville, upon completion.

We spoke with the Hotel's owner and some people in the area just steps away from the build site and it's something businesses in the area are excited about.

This 8-story hotel right is right in the heart of the downtown area surrounded by all kinds of shops and restaurants excited to see an influx of people.

Co-X Holdings Managing Partner and Owner of the Hilton Garden Inn, Paul Adkison, says the hotel will have 102 rooms ranging in size.

He tells us the decision to have the hotel in the center of downtown was made almost a decade ago.
